Pacific County Health Department values the importance of routine family planning care for both men and women. We offer a wide variety of services in our Family Planning Clinics, including general family planning information, annual exams, sexually transmitted disease information and testing, Breast, Cervical and Colon Health Program and Reproductive Life Planning. We contract with an Advanced Register Nurse Practitioner 4 days a month, 2 clinics in South Bend and 2 clinics in Long Beach along with offering a refill and pregnancy testing clinic by one of our Registered Nurses the alternate weeks that our NP is not in the office. Family planning services are available to women of reproductive age, including:
- Pap smears and pelvic exams.
- Pregnancy tests.
- Birth control, including emergency contraception.
Services are available by appointment. To make an appointment call (360) 875-9343 for South Bend or 360-642-9349 for Long Beach office. The fee is based on your income Medicaid is accepted and some private insurances.
Breast, Cervical and Colon Health Program:
This program is available for both men and women. For women 40-64 years of age who are unisured and financially qualify this program provides annual pap smears and mammograms.
For both men and women that meet the requiremetns this program provides screening for to assure colon health.
Take Charge
Take Charge is a program that pays for birth control for low-income men and women. The Pacific County Public Health and Human Services Department clinic is a participating provider in the Take Charge program.
